Comet C/2011 L4 Pan-Starrs March 8 - 30Newly discovered comet Pan-STARRS will make its closest approach to the Sun on March 10. The comet will start to be visible in the morning sky in early February in the Southern Hemisphere. It will gradually increase in brightness until its encounter with the Sun on March 10. By this time it will be visible in the evening sky in the Northern Hemisphere. It can be seen just to the left of the setting sun. It will continue to be visible in the evening sky for the rest of March and into early April. [ x | x ]
